Despite financial challenges, Berlin’s cultural scene continues to thrive. This March, a new comedy venue will open in Berlin-Mitte, led by the beloved comedian Michael Mittermeier. The Punch Line Club Berlin will take up residence in the basement of the Theater am Potsdamer Platz, as announced by future operator Live Nation on Monday. The former club theater is set to accommodate a total of 853 spectators. Starting in March, both German-speaking and international stand-up stars will present their shows at Potsdamer Platz. Among the first comedy acts planned for the opening phase in March 2025 are Celeste Barber, Morgan Jay, Fabi Rommel, Phil Rosenthal, and Two Jews.
