Starting September 30th, registering as an organ donor will become even easier. Residents over the age of 16 will now be able to sign up through their health insurance app, as part of ongoing efforts to eliminate barriers to organ donation. Earlier this year, in March, first steps for online registration were initiated, resulting in nearly 100,000 new donors in the first month alone. With the app, the registration process will be quicker and more secure, allowing individuals to make a potentially life-saving decision with just a few clicks.
